Sierra Nevada.
Sierra Nevada has been shaking up the ordinary since the ‘80s and helped launch the beer revolution that’s in full force today. They believe in pushing the boundaries, whether that’s in their brewhouse, with sustainability, or in the great outdoors. I’ve helped bring their message that good beer can do a lot of good to beer enthusiast everywhere through a variety of projects.
1 | PALE ALE SKI & SNOWBOARD: Sierra Nevada’s always been bigger than beer. They’ve worked night and day to push the boundaries of exploration. From the brewhouse to the great outdoors, they believe freedom’s in the wild places. And from those wild places the best beers are brewed. I designed a set of snowboards and skis that brought this mindset to life.

2 | BIG CHICO KRIEK: A special beer for a special audience, this label pays tribute to the local watering hole in Chico: Bear Hole. Available only in the brewery, this sour is a salute to the Sierra Nevada community and the people who love being outside in its beautiful backyard.

3 | NOONER HOPPY PILSNER: Gather your friends, pack the gear, and head out to wherever the day may take you. A midday go-to, Nooner is a take on the classic German-style pilsner—one of the original session beers. I helped Sierra Nevada explore multiple designs for this easy drinking and welcoming beer.

4 | BAD MOTOR SCOOTER SESSION IPA: Who says you’ve got to be big to be bold? On its surface, this IPA is unassuming—easy-drinking, light-bodied, and golden in color—but underneath, it’s fueled by intense grapefruit, peach and herbal hop aroma that can rival even the heaviest hogs in the hop game.
